A variety of outboard insulation options are available for Curtainwalls and Rainscreens, which have provided building envelope technologies a place for furture development, on an area of the building that significantly effects the energy consumption for the building. In the US alone, 48 percent of all energy consumption and Greenhouse gas emissions annually(wbcsd.org).
For maximum energy efficiency, we offer a continuous insulation rain screen option. This entails insulating continuously across all structural members without thermal bridges other than fasteners and service openings, enabling a true continuously insulated exterior wall that meets or exceeds ASHRAE 90.1 requirements.
